Handsewn Patchwork Flower Kits
In this gorgeous new kit, to make this large 8" flower will be three-layered petals, (6), from my favourite, mostly vintage, fabric collections. They will be similar to the ones above and all you will need are scissors, needles and threads and some time to take for yourself to enjoy sewing this pretty flower. It is a fun project to do with some friends too. You can use your finished flower to add to a bag, clothing, wall art or you can sew together a few and make a quilt top. You could even use bias-binding for the edges instead of embroidered stitches if you prefer but I love the slightly wonky ways that the hand sewn stitches give! There will be a simple printed pictured tutorial included, to show you how I sew mine. Basic sewing skills are required. The final embroidery on the petals and centre French knots can be easily picked up, by a beginner too.

Pot of Roses Original Painting
"Pot of Roses" by Debra Dorgan - 2017
Lots of layered colours and texture. Inspired by my love of old floral textiles and tin graphics. It measures 21cm x 29.7cm and sits in a simple black frame, (no glass), with stand at the back and can also be hung.
